Welcome to Write Here, a place for writers to find inspiration, encouragement, and resources to help them achieve their goals. Whether you are a long-time, accomplished writer or are new to penning your thoughts on paper, I'm here to help. My practice is devoted to assisting writers find their voice and gain confidence in their writing. My primary focus is on coaching new writers or experienced ones who need a nudge to get going again. I am a gentle coach who will help you set and meet your goals, direct you to helpful resources, and keep you on track. I am flexible in the way I work with clients and strive to find the approach that works best for them. Together we will discover how you, as a unique individual, will best be inspired to reach your writing goals.
My services inclulde:
- Group Workshops for six or more participants on a wide variety of topics (see Creative Writing Workshops page) primarily in the Portland, Oregon metro area. I will also travel to conduct workshops in your area. Contact me for details.
- One-on-one Workshops, either online or by phone.
- Writing Circles. I will conduct circles according to your specifications or help you create your own.
- Coaching and Mentoring. In coaching sessions I'll assign activities to keep you going in your work, stay on task, and reach your goals. In mentoring sessions, I do more listening, offering encouragement and suggestions to keep you motivated.
- Copy Editing and Proofreading. Copy editing and proofreading include correction of punctuation, grammar, and spelling.
